at Rocheleau Dental
Kids love us. Parents trust us.
Our team takes pride in providing quality care to family members of all ages. It’s important to start consistent dental care as soon a child’s teeth grow in, which is why we value creating a safe and welcoming environment that encourages children to form a healthy relationship with their family dentist. We focus on cleaning and prevention and will educate children and parents on healthy habits at every stage of development.

Children Visits
Good dental health habits start early, and it’s important to take care of your child’s teeth as they emerge. We recommend scheduling the first “regular” dental visit just after your child’s third birthday, as most children get all 20 of their primary teeth by then.
This first dental visit is usually short and begins with a gentle examination of your child’s teeth and gums. We may clean your child’s teeth with fluoride to help protect the teeth against decay, and we’ll check to see that your child is receiving adequate fluoride at home. We will review healthy habits for cleaning and caring for your child’s teeth.
We recommend preparing your child for their first visit the same way you would prepare them for their first doctor’s visit or their first haircut. Review with your child what the dentist will be doing during the first visit, and speak positively about your own dental experiences. It may be helpful to take your child for a “preview” of the office so that your child becomes familiar with the place. We may also ask you to sit in the dental chair with your child during the examination.
Rocheleau Dental provides care for all the children in your family, from infants to adolescents. As your children’s teeth grow and develop, our services focus on developing healthy habits and preventing tooth decay. Bi-annual check-ups and cleanings play a significant role in keeping teeth healthy and preventing difficult pediatric dental complications. During these check-ups, we also educate both parents and children on healthy habits that start at home.
